YouTube Star Becomes Journey's New Lead Singer

If you haven't heard about this, then you are going to be truly surprised. 80's rock band Journey has never been the same since Steve Perry left the band for good back in 1998. Since then, they've been through two other lead singers before YouTube star Arnel Pineda. Who is Pineda? He's actually been singing for over 25 years, but it was his YouTube videos that caught the attention of Journey's guitarist Neal Schon. Schon was so impressed with Pineda's cover versions of their songs, that they arranged a meeting, and now, Pineda is the new Journey lead singer.

And, I have to say, he sounds exactly like Steve Perry. See for yourself. Here are a few of Journey's greatest hits performed live with Pineda as the lead singer from a recent concert. Enjoy!
