Bollywood superstar Tania Zaetta was in the news today because she finally received a formal apology from the Australian military because of their false allegations that she had sex with soldiers while touring the Middle East last year. Six Feet Under Star Lauren Ambrose Playing Hasidic In Loving Leah

Six Feet Under alum Lauren Ambrose took on a completely different role on the CBS movie Loving Leah that aired last night on CBS. She played a widowed member of a Hasidic community. This is an interesting role for Lauren. Here's an excerpt from NYDailyNews.com about the role: (Also, check out the video below. "To prep for her role as a widowed member of a Hasidic community in CBS' movie "Loving Leah," former "Six Feet Under" star Lauren Ambrose spent time with women of the devout faith.

"I didn't know a lot about the Hasidic community at all," Ambrose told the Daily News. "They let me hang out and talk with them and were really open about their lives."

"Loving Leah," which premieres tomorrow night at 9, explores the ancient Levirate marriage law that says a deceased husband's brother, if single, must marry his widow, in this case is Leah, played by Ambrose.

"I thought it was a very sweet story about a regular girl who lives in this very sheltered community," Ambrose said. "But she needs to see a bigger world and finds a way to do it."

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick - Latest Victims of Madoff's Ponzi Scheme?

This is really sad. It seems that Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are the latest celebs to confirm they were victims of Bernie Madoff's ponzi scheme. Here's the lowdown from NYMag.com, "We'd heard that along with Hollywood boldfacers Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, lost money in Madoff's devastating $50 billion Ponzi scheme, and Bacon's rep, Allen Eichorn, confirmed it for us.

"Unfortunately, your report is true," he wrote. He wouldn't elaborate on whether, as we'd heard, they'd lost everything except for their checking accounts and the land they own. "I can confirm that they had investments with Mr. Madoff — no further specifics or comment beyond that," he said, adding: "Please, let's not speculate or rely on hearsay."

On the bright side, Kevin's one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood, and Kyra's riding high with The Closer, so they'll be okay. Just look for Kevin to pop up more often in some of those made-for-tv movies on Lifetime.
